As soon as we got off the plane, Galya and I told him that Papa is here. This is it! Let's go get Papa! So the entire way through the terminal he was calling, 'Papa! Papa!' When we came up the escalator and saw them all lined up - Papa, Chase, Mammaw, Pappaw, Omah - it was an exciting moment. He was squealing and Mom was crying. It is so good to be home! He fell asleep on the way home and we carried him in and put him right in bed. He slept until 6:15 this morning. Today has been a day of excitement and exploring.
I can't thank you all enough for the outpouring of good wishes and gifts! WOW - what a Welcome Home! This boy has enough to play with, that's for sure! We had a big Welcome Home banner in the foyer (thanks Card girls and Lisa) and tons of loot. Let the spoiling begin! Our neighbors across the street, George and Lori, put up a big banner 'Welcome Daniel' across their porch. When you look out his bedroom window, that's the first thing you see. How nice! We are just so moved by everyone's love and support. It is so great to have you share in our excitement!
We are praising God for His many blessings - all of our friends and family and this wonderful little boy that He has brought into our lives. He has been such a great addition already.
