Puzzling

The weather has turned really cold here! We are still playing outside a bit with Daniel, but more inside play. When we are not at the orphanage, we are at the clinic trying to keep busy. We read a lot, cook dinner, watch movies and we worked this big puzzle.....

We finished it in about 3 days, so we thought we needed a bigger challenge. We bought a 2000 piece puzzle and are furiously trying to finish it before we leave the clinic next week.

There are no clother dryers here, so everyone hangs their wash to dry outside. I got this cute picture at the orphanage of all the little things hanging out.....

My eye is better. The mystery potion worked! We visited with our boy once Sunday and twice today. We are running out of new things to do and are really looking forward to next week when we can pick him up and hop on the train to Kiev. We are ready to bring him home!

More tomorrow.....

It is wonderful reading about your experiences and the bonding that is starting while you are there. Enjoy the time with him while you can focus on only Daniel. It is a very special time.

We missed you at the St Patricks day parade on Saturday, it is so much more fun with boys, you will have a great time next year as a family. Our boys are looking foward to meeting Daniel and having another boy on the block.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Lori and George

Kelly, glad to hear you are doing better. Sounds like you are doing just fine Jason on your own w/David.

Had a few ideas of games you could play w/Daniel. Tic Tac Toe, I see a color... or pass around paper and someone starts the picture, then the next person adds something and it builds til you want to stop. Paper, scissors, rock. Write out D A N I E L and outline a design on each letter and color it in and also build on it. If you have construction paper, make a small wordless book for down the road. Collect some leaves, stones, etc. that Daniel will have from his home country.

I'm sure time in between is long, but take advantage of it, as once you get back in the States, you'll be going every minute.

We miss you and pray for you often. I have shared your Adoption Adventure with others and print out your daily blog as well. There are many praying you through.

Tell Daniel he is already loved by many friends in America.

Love,
Jeanine
