When I cut off the top and told him to stick his hand in he goes, 'Mom, I'm scared!'. After a bit of coaxing, he finally went in and pulled a few seeds out.
I carved and let him poke out the pieces from the inside. Then he said, 'That's Cool!'
We put it out on the porch and admired our handiwork. 
He had to give it a BIG HUG before going off to bed....

To sweet! We are looking forward to the pumpkin thing this weekend but with the help of the Charlie Brown Halloween special, the kids know what to expect. You should try some fake spiderwebs. Our kids spent hours pulling them across the house.
